ABOUT ME

I graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science, Major in Biochemistry and again in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences.

Then I left home for the first time to attend medical school at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. It was certainly an exciting adventure! Constant learning, challenges, and meeting great people motivated me towards a most rewarding goal.

I’m happy to share that I am now working as Dr. Nguy and continuing to learn and build on the foundation laid over the past years. And yes, I’m still in Australia!

In other exciting news, if you’ve ever popped by my blog, you might have met Michael – my fiance. We are now planning our wedding… May 14, 2016 – here we come! 🙂

Other than that, sleeping is my favourite hobby. Traveling is a privilege I am most grateful to continuously experience. I take great delight in food and am easily lost in the beauty and serenity of nature. I love photography and the visual arts but wish I had more time to develop whatever little skills I might have. Music plays my story, reading is my pleasure and writing is my getaway. If I had to lose one of my 5 senses, I would choose to lose my sense of touch. I believe works of fiction are not solely from our imagination and creation but are all events inspired by our past, present and future. I believe there is a God, although I do not necessarily believe in the institution of religion. Family and friends are a constant in my life; they have shaped who I am today.
